Ingredients:
- 100% Grass Fed & Finished Beef Tallow: Sourced from a farm in southern Idaho, our tallow is deeply moisturizing and rich in vitamins A, D, and E, promoting skin hydration and repair.
- Beeswax from a local Utah Apiary: Forms a protective barrier on the skin, offering additional hydration and water resistance.
- Organic Coconut Oil: With an SPF of 4-6, it provides mild sun protection and deeply moisturizes the skin.
- Non-Nano Zinc Oxide: Offers broad-spectrum protection by reflecting UV rays, preventing sunburn and skin damage. Non-nano oxide is a safer option than traditional sunscreen because it does not penetrate the skin and enter the bloodstream making it safe for even babies!
- Organic Red Raspberry Seed Oil: Provides an SPF of 28-50, offering significant UVB and some UVA protection, while being rich in antioxidants and vitamins.
- Organic Carrot Seed Oil: With an SPF of around 38-40, it is a potent antioxidant that helps rejuvenate and protect the skin.
- Cold Pressed Avocado Oil: Offers an SPF of 15 and is rich in nutrients that support collagen production, helping to maintain skin firmness and reduce fine lines.
- Cold Pressed Olive Oil: Provides an SPF of approximately 7, deeply hydrating and offering anti-inflammatory benefits to soothe and repair the skin.

First of all, I want to share that Hailey is incredibly kind and thoughtful. She always ships products quickly while ensuring they arrive safely, and her responses are prompt, sincere, and helpful with any questions about the products.
I was looking for a natural sunscreen free from harsh chemicals, and I felt I could trust Home & Hearth's sun balm. I love that it contains non-nano zinc oxide for real SPF protection, along with highly nourishing oils. It does feel a bit heavier on my face compared to chemical sunscreens, but it’s not uncomfortable. To minimize any white cast, I like to layer it in small amounts. Interestingly, I notice less of a white cast when I apply it to my body – it soaks right in.
The smell is something I’m not entirely a fan of personally, even though I know it’s a natural product curated without fragrances or essential oils. To me, it smells like a mix of carrot, avocado, chocolate, and coconut. The scent doesn’t last long, but it is noticeable at first.
Since it’s a physical sunscreen, I know a minimal white cast is normal. Overall, I really like this sun balm and appreciate that it is water resistant.
Works great! Only problem is it leaves a white coating in your skin.

This sunscreen was perfect for my trip to the mountains! It was extremely nourishing for my skin, protected me from the harsh high elevation sun, did not feel greasy and did not have the classic sunscreen stink! I am someone who typically hates using sunscreen because of how it feels on my skin and how it smells, yet this product changed that. I found myself looking forward to reapplying it, which is a first in my book! I will be ordering this again. 10/10 recommend this product.
Used it this weekend by the pool, no sun burn! Went on smoothly, not greasy, and doesn’t smell! Love it!
